Jenna Butler is a poet, editor, and teacher who makes her home in Edmonton, where she is the founding editor of Rubicon Press. Her work has garnered a number of awards, including CBC’s Alberta Anthology and the James Patrick Folinsbee Prize, and has been widely published in journals, anthologies and literary magazines in Canada and abroad. Butler is the author of five short collections of poetry, in addition to a recent trade book from NeWest Press, Aphelion. She teaches Creative Writing and Literature at MacEwan University during the school year. In the summer, she lives with her husband, three resident moose, and a den of coyotes on a small organic farm in the north country.
