Lisa Martin is the author of One Crow Sorrow (2008) and of a new collection, Believing is not the same as Being Saved, forthcoming in spring 2017. She is also one of the editors of How to Expect What You’re Not Expecting: Stories of Pregnancy, Parenthood, and Loss (2013). Her work has earned a National Magazine Award for Personal Journalism, The Malahat Review’s Open Season Award for Poetry, and an Alberta Literary Award / Stephan G. Stephansson Award for Poetry. She teaches literature and creative writing at Concordia University of Edmonton.
